The University of Cologne is one of the oldest and largest universities in Germany. The position is based in the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences, which is consistently ranked among the top schools in research and teaching.

YOUR TASKS
The successful candidate will join the Institute of Sociology and Social Psychology and contribute to research,teaching and academic administration of the Faculty. The candidate should conduct high-quality research in the field of social and organisational psychology and contribute to one of the Faculty’s key research areas (https://wiso.uni-koeln.de/en/research), such as the Center for Social and Economic Behavior (C-SEB) or the Key Research Initiative Behavioral Management Science. The successful acquisition and implementation of third-party-funded projects is appreciated. The candidate contributes to the international visibility of the Institute and the Faculty. The candidate should provide excellent teaching in both social and organisational psychology in English and, in the long run, German, and should participate in the development of new degree programs.

YOUR PROFILE
We are seeking an outstanding academic in social and organisational psychology. You should have a doctoral degree in psychology or related fields, a strong track record of high-quality research and have demonstrated the ability to publish in top-tier journals in the fields of social and organisational psychology. Your research profile should fit to the Institute of Sociology and Social Psychology and/or to one of the key research areas of the Faculty. You should have demonstrated the ability to offer high-quality and innovative teaching in social and organisational psychology at different levels.

As a rule, the teaching load comprises nine semester hours per week (i.e., two hours per week is one 90-minute course per semester).
